Redgum Walers Equine Learning Centre & Stud

Redgum Walers is situated 45 minutes SW of Brisbane Queensland Australia. The proprietor of Redgum Walers, Elizabeth Jennings has been breeding, training and competing Waler performance horses since 1989 and is a qualified Facilitator with Australian Equine Facilitated Learning Pty Ltd (AEFL).

“What is EFL? Contemporary clinical research shows that close proximity to horses changes human brain wave patterns suggesting that humans can be transformed in a very positive way when in the presence of horses. Appropriate interaction with horses can therefore prove therapeutic to adults and children alike. Equine Facilitated Learning is an interaction between horses and people designed to promote experiential learning for all the participants.” (Ref. http://efl.net.au/home.html)

The primary goal of Redgum Walers is to continue to breed, train, sell, and campaign quality Australian Waler performance horses to demonstrate the Walers suitability within today’s equestrian community. Elizabeth is very pleased to be able to offer access to these amazing intuitive horses through the development of Redgum Walers as an Equine Facilitated Learning Centre. For more information visit www.redgum-waler.com.

Redgum Walers has sourced their quality breeding stock throughout Australia which are registered with the Waler Horse Society of Australia Inc. (WHSA). The WHSA , together with Waler horse owners in every state of Australia, work together to ensure the sustainability of the Australian Waler horse for future generations.
